Duncan Rockett (Chiropractor)Meet Dr Duncan Rockett (Chiropractor)

Duncan Rockett graduated from Newcastle University with an honours degree in chemistry. He then joined the Royal Air Force, completing officer training at the Royal Air Force College, Cranwell before becoming an air traffic control officer. Whilst in the air force he was so impressed with the results achieved when his wife was adjusted by a chiropractor, he felt compelled, on leaving the air force, to begin a career in this exclusive branch of health care. He attended the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth and, after 5 years of study, graduated in 2001 with a first class honours degree in human sciences and a master of science in chiropractic. He then gained the title, Doctor of Chiropractic. After graduation, he worked at the chiropractic clinic in Monkseaton when it was located in St Ronans Road before leaving to set up practice in Jesmond. Since then he has also worked in Galashiels in Scotland.

Helping People Lead Healthier Lives

Since finishing Chiropractic college, Duncan has become increasingly aware of the power of chiropractic, not only as a useful tool to help with painful conditions but also as a vehicle to help people lead a healthier, more fulfilling life and this is now his main goal as a Chiropractor.

Duncan is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association, a member of the Royal College of Chiropractors and President of SOTO Europe. He lectures internationally in post graduate Chiropractic education, teaching Chiropractors Sacro-Occipital Technique and Cranial Chiropractic. He has special interests in chiropractic care for babies, children, and mums-to-be, and in sports chiropractic, particularly, management of health and performance for elite gymnasts.
